Projects
The projects led by Robbytech include development and management of a variety of real time systems, being involved from small scale single board design projects, up to the system design of full scale multi clustered computer systems.
High Speed Data Streaming/Recording System
This project is a complete proposal for the Navy to deliver an integrated High Speed data recording system for the Sonar Buss Raw data, including analysis and broadcasting of the information. The data streaming takes place on four lines of 175Mb/sec each, recorded to RAID 0 hard disk media and distributed to external clients using Gbyte Ethernet lines. The systems working profile is continuous operationfor several days and enables the operator to perform selected time frame data recording of several hours.
The system is based on National Instruments PXIe technology:

Depot Test Set Upgrade
Main computer software and hardware upgrade of a Depot Test Set from an obsolete HP9000 system to a modern PC based platform. The new system had been granted as operational by the Navy and runs as a Real Time interface to all test equipment and sensors, providing a computerized and automatic testing solution.

Combat System Simulator
Complete and profound proposal for the Navy for a full scale Command and Control system simulator for the Dolphin class submarines. The proposal includes all necessary components including consoles, main computers, peripherals and algorithm needed to run a full scale simulation.

Combat System Project Management
Management of the Dolphin class combat system project, including integration of new weapons, testing and qualification of the system and conducting compete acceptance process at depot and on site. This completely integrated system is made up of multi console and multi clustered computer architecture linked to various sensors and peripheral systems.
